Alternatively, if you prefer just to concentrate on your writing or painting at The Writer's Retreat cabin, you can take refreshing walks or bike rides in the local area.  There is a wealth of rural French countryside to explore, easily accessible without a car, where you will find vineyards, orchards, forests and troglodyte caves less than a mile away.
 

Located in the serene gardens at the rear of our residence, our Writer's Retreat cabin is 25 square metres (269 square feet) and is equipped with a sofa, table and chairs, hot plate, microwave oven and fridge, and an adjoining bathroom with shower and toilet.  There is a choice of sleeping area;  a mezzanine with access by a ladder, or in the living area where there is a very comfortable sofa bed.  During the winter the cabin is heated by a log burning stove (believe me, you won't be cold!).  Visit the gallery to see more pictures both inside and out.

You can be as solitary or as sociable as you choose.  If you choose one of the half or full board options, home-cooked meals can either be taken with us at the kitchen table, or delivered to the cabin.  In the evenings you are free to do as you wish - either join our family in the house, or retire to the cabin to enjoy some time alone.  We are offering complete respite from life’s distractions so that you can focus on what’s really important to you.  This is your time - we guarantee it.  It's up to you what kind of stay you will have.
